Died Leningrad, 14 April 1973

Pakhomov studied in St. Petersburg 1915-1917 at the Central Institute for Technical Drawing (PUTR) and 1922 at the VKHUTEIN under Savinov. Sarted as a monumentalist but became later an illustrator of children's books. In 1947 he started teaching at the Repin Institute in Leningrad.
