Born Yarensk (Arkhangelsk), 9 March 1937

Vagin graduated from the Moscow polygraphic institute as a graphic artist. He illustrated both children's books and literary works. He lived and worked in Perm and  immigrated in 1990 to the USA where he works and lives in Burlington.
