Lyubarsky, son of the chief
physician Vasily Lyubarsky, studied at the Moscow school of painting,
Sculpture and architecture from 1910 to the beginning of the war in 1914
when he returned to Khabarovsk. During his study he met with David
Burliuk and Vladimir Mayakovsky and became acquainted with futurism. In
Khabarovsk he worked as an art teacher and founded the 'The Khabarov Art
Association'. Around 1919 Lyubarsky moved to Vladivostok where he worked
as an editor for the Krasnoe Znamya newspaper. In 1928 he moved to
Moscow where he worked as the art editor of the Publishing house
Uchpedgiz. |
