Kulbin studied 1887-1893 Medicine at the Military Academy and graduated in 1895. From 1908 to 1912 he organized many exhibitions and held lectures on modern theatre and futurism. In 1913 he was co-founder of the cabaret "the Straying Dog". Retrospective exhibitions were held in 1912 and 1918. Kulbin was the leading theoretician and propagandist of the Russian avant-garde. |
