Stas Zhitsky studied in 1985 and 1986 at the Moscow art studio of Dmitry Lyon. From 1986 he worked as a theater artist (set design and costumes), book designer and illustrator. In the early '90s he worked as production designer of fashion shows. In 1996, he founded OPEN! Design & Concepts together with Sergei Kuzhavsky.
