The green roll

Paris: Sever, 1920-1921

The green roll was a bimonthly magazine for children in the Russian emigration. It was a publication with poetry, stories and literary contributions by a.o. Balmont, Cherny, Rubakin, Struve, A. Tolstoi, and Teffi. It was illustrated by artists such as Re-Mi, S. Soudeikine, A. Koiranskii and others. A total of 8 issues were published between the beginning of October 1920 and the end of January 1921. The editor was A.Shpolyanskii (Don-Aminado).
