Gebrauchgraphik was a bilingual (German - English)  journal - successor to the journal das Plakat - was founded in 1924 by K.H. Frenzel who was editor in his untimely death in 1937. It survived until 1944 but had then to close and was re-established in Munich in 1950. In the 1970s it was replaced by the journal Novum.
