Yudovin studied
from 1910 to 1914 in St.
Petersburg at the School for the Ebcouragement of Art
under Bernshtein and Dobujinsky. In 1912
and 1914 he took part in the An-Sky expedition on Jewish folkart.
From 1919 to 1923
he studied in Vitebsk under M.
Chagall and Yu. Pen. From
1923 to 1928 he was curator of the An-sky
collection in the National Jewish Museum.
