Born Cheboksary, 27 March 1962

Ulangin graduated 1984 from the Chuvash State Pedagogical Institute in Cheboksary. In 1989 his friendship with the poet Gennadii Aigi pushed Ulangin to design his own books. In 1989 he was awarded with a grant for his 'Experience of graphic communication with the lyrics of Aleksandr Pushkin. In 2005 he founded the publishing house 'Free poetry'that published next to poetry by various poets also the magazine 'Akzenty'
