Alexander and Valery Traugot are the sons of Georgii Nikolaevich Traugot (1903-1961) a known Leningrad artist. Together with their father they published in 1956 their first illustrations. The brothers considered their father as their main teacher and decided to keep the letter G of their father's name in their signature. All their works are therefore signed by triple initial G. A. V. |
