Telingater studied at the Baku Art Institute until 1920 and 1920-1921 under Favorskii at the VkhUTEMAS in Moscow. 1921-1925 he worked as an illustrator in Baku. In 1925 he moved to Moscow. Co-founder of the group October, 1928-1932.
