The Belgian poet and essayist Philippe Jones (born 1924) attempts in his poetic work, to mediate  between language and thought, to give direction to human emotion. In her art, Anna Staritsky transcend the fragile poetic language into a powerful combination of art and thought. The tears of the poet are transformed into strong forms that show the shells of new mornings. This copy bears a dedication, dated 6.12.76, by Philippe Jones to Ms. Yvonne Dewals, in which he expresses his hope that this Morning forms might become the forms of a painter’s palette.
