July plain-song by Janine Mitaud (French poet, born 1921) is written as a single, continuous poem, exploiting all the resources of typographical order and white space, italics and capitalization. The model for this book was made by Staritsky, who, as no other, would know how to use words and paper to become art. Copy with two colour engravings by Staritsky and a handwritten poem by Mitaud.
