Eugène Guillevic (1907-1997), who always signed his books with his surname only, was a French poet. Living with things, sharing memories with things, is what this book is about. For the lines: Qui n’a pas craint de devenir (Who is not afraid to grow up), and Tous ceux que j’essaie deviennent des fleuves (All whom I try become rivers), Staritsky created two embossed engravings.
