This book deals with six variations on the theme of loneliness as the ugly woman leaves the strange bird. The text and the engravings are is incorporated in the lay out of the pages. To enhance the lines about the immensity of heaven and clouds, Staritsky did not keep to the dimensions of the book but designed a fold-out page that catches the eye with its unusual compositions of forms and colours. The text of the book and the engravings by Staritsky were printed by hand by G. Duchene on the press of the Moulin du Verger de Puymoyen.
