The unfindable night was the first collection of verses by Annie Salanger to be published for which she was awarded the Belgian René Blieck price in 1963. For this book Staritsky designed the frontispiece as a collage and water colour, making each book more or less a unique copy. Although the book was published in Lyon, it was printed in Brussels.
