In 1952 Anna Staritsky met Michel Seuphor, a well-known art critic and author of books on art and artists, during her Paris installation. He acquainted her with many artist and poets what might have induced her complete change in style as can be seen from the cover , Staritsky designed for this small booklet with a novel by Pascal Claude. This angular geometrical line drawing is a first in the book designs by Anna Staritsky. Her transition from the figurative to the abstract art was not an evolution, but rather a revolution, that happened all of a sudden.
