Sologub (Salogubov) studied from 1898 at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. From 1902 to 1910 he studied architecture at the Imperial Academy in St.Petersburg. architecture. In 1920 he emigrated to Constantinople and settled in 1921 in The Hague, where he organized an exhibition of Russian artists in 1924.
