Marcel Slodki studied from 1910 to 1913 at the Munich Art Academy under Carl Becker-Gundahl. In 1914 he fled to Switzerland and became in Zurich one of the first Dadaists. From 1921 to 1924 he lived and worked in Berlin. In 1924 he moved to Paris. He went undercover during the second World War but was arrested in Chambery and deported to Auschwitz in 1943 |
