Siniaver studied at the Odessa School of Arts. In 1923 he settled in Belgium and studied under de Boveri at the Ghent Academy of Art. He also graduated as a technical engineer and combined technics with art especially in the field of landscapes. He won the Counsil of Europe's medal for technical design.
