Born Leningrad, 4 March 1954

Shinkarev studied at the Leningrad Mukhina Art Institute and graduated 1977 from the Geological Faculty of the Leningrad University. He is one of the founder of the Mitki group and the publishing house Mitkilibris. In 2008 he left Mitki and works now as a free lance artist in Petersburg.
