Brain Cell is a mail art project begun by Ryosuke Cohen in June 1985 and continues today reaching issue number 1.000 by the end of 2017. Individual artists contribute stamps, stickers, drawings, or other images and send these by mail to Cohen, who assembles and prints them with a small silkscreen system as part of a 30 x 42 cm sheet in editions of 150 copies. Segay and Nikonova participated in a number of issues, of which so far numbers 66 (August 19, 1987), 97 (July 10, 1988), and 157 (November 20, 1989) have been identified.
