In 1988, as an extension to Offerta speciale, Bertola and Vitacchio created Busta Sorpresa [Surprise Envelope]. This is a still-continuing series of handmade folders comprising refined original works on paper and other materials by artists also contributing to Offerta Speciale. Works include small collages, photographic compositions, and traditional (neo) avant-garde trinkets made of wood or plastic. In total 36 issues have been published to date. Nikonova and Segay participated in 5 issues of Busta Sorpresa.
