Пулемёт

Machine gun

Machine gun is a Russian literary and artistic satirical illustrated magazine with a political and anti-government orientation, published by the journalist N. G. Shebuev in 1905 and 1906. The first issue, November 26 (13), 1905, was confiscated. In 1906 the editor was taken to prison and prosecuted under Art. 103 ("insult to the Majesty") and 128 ("impudent disrespect for the supreme power") of the criminal code. He was the first of many that the judicial chamber sentenced to prison for this reason. In total there were 5 issues and one additional, "Express". The magazine was briefly revived after the February Revolution of 1917 in no's 6-11.
