The whip

 

At the end of November 1905, issue one of  the journal The whip edited by A.F.Ivanov  was published. The magazine's intended to be a satirical weekly but was published infrequently. The magazine was filled with anti-government and ant-Nicholas satirical texts and illustrations. In January 1906, the fourth issue of the magazine was published, and part of the circulation was confiscated from the editorial office in St. Petersburg. The fifth and last issue was confiscated right in the printing house located at 58 Liteiny. The editor A.F. Ivanov was arrested, and the printing house was closed.
