Olga Romanoff was the youngest child of emperor Alexander III and younger sister to emperor Nicholas II of Russia. She was raised at the Gachina Palace outside St. Petersburg. In 1920 she and her family escaped from the Soviet Union and joined her mother in Denmark. She and her husband ran a dairy farm. To provide extra income for both her family and charitable causes she painted and oranized exhibitions. In 1948 she moved to Canada. |
