Yurii Rakhsa, born as Yurii Mefoldevich Terebilov, studied at the Moscow Surikov Institute. From 1957 to 1963 Raksha studied at the graphic department of the Moscow Cinematographic Institute. In 1962 he married Irina Raksha an took her name. He worked at the Mosfilm studio designing more than 10 major films. He also worked as a painter and graphic artist. He died of acute leukemia.

1987
