Born Sivokhrap (Siberia), 18 October 1934

Raishev was born in the Khanti province into a hunter's family. He studied at the Northern Branch of the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute Russian language and literature. During his study hy attended an evening art school. In 1962 he moved to Karpinsk, in his native country, where he lives and works.
