Rabinovitch studied 1894-1903 at the Gymnasium in Minsk. In 1904 first visit to the Azbe School in Munich. 1904-1905 Art Academy in St. Petersburg. 1906-07 study with Moritz Heymann in München. 1907-1911 studied law at the Moscow University. 1912 emigration to Paris and 1914 to Geneva. From 1915-1958 he lived and worked in Zürich.
