Pleshchinskii studied from 1909 to 1914
in
St. Peterburg at the School for Encouraging the Arts under Ivan Bilibin,
Arkadii Rylov and Nikolai Roerich. In 1914 he served in the army and
fell into german captivity for four years until 1918. From 1919 to 1921
he Studied at the Kazan Technical Institute. In 1925 he moved to Kiev
where he taught at the Kiev Art Institute as head of the graphic
faculty.
