Petrograd: Sovet Rabochikh i Krasnoarmeiskikh Deputatov, 1918 - 1920
The Flame was an illustrated weekly on science, literature and art published in Petrograd by the Soviet of Workers and Red Army Deputies. Editor in chief was Anatoly Lunacharsky. In 1920 it became a political literary and art magazine published by the Soviet Council of Soviet Deputies. Printed on newsreel, the magazine had an excellent aesthetic design with beautiful illustrations and photographs. Published were 34 (1-34) issues in 1918, 36 (35-70) in 1919 and 20 (1-20) in 1920.
