Pastukhov studied at the
Bogolyubov Art School in Saratov. In 1912 he moved to Kiev and studied
History and Philology at the Kiev University. At the same time he
studied at the studio of Ya. N. Milkin. In the early 1920s he moved to
Moscow where he took up designing children's books and in the 1930s also
scenography. He taught from 1940 to 1950 drawing and painting at the
History faculty of the Moscow State University. |
