Boris Orlov graduated 1966 from the department of monumental en decorative sculpture of the Moscow Stroganov Institute. He worked together with Aleksandr Kosolapov, Leonid Sokov and Dmitrii Prigov. he was organizer of one-day exhibition of sculpture between 1976 and 1986. From 1989 to 1991 Orlov lived in the USA. Since 1991 he lives and works in Moscow.
