Michail Odnoralov, born as Mikhail Levidov, was the son of the artist Maia Levidova (1921-2012). He recieved his early art lessons at Robert Falk's private studio before studying at the Moscow Krasnaia Presnia Art School. He joined the artist of the Moscow Underground which led to a brief detention and some social harassement. In 1980 he left for new York where he died
