New Satiricon

St. Petersburg 1913 - 1918

A weekly satirical journal. In May 1913 the main writers and artist left the magazine Satiricon and founded their own journal New satiricon with A. Averchenko as an editor. As the cover of the first issue of 1913 stated: A.Radakov, Re-Mi, A.Yakovlev and A.Yunger were the main artists. The magazine was published from June 1913 to August 1918 when it was closed as an anti-soviet publication. From June 1913 to April 1914 both Satiricon as New Satiricon were published simultaneously.
