Born Narbutovka (Ukraine), 9 March 1886

Died Kiev, 23 May 1920.

Narbut studied literature and history at the St. Petersburg Universty until 1906. 1907-1908 het studied in the Zvantseva art-school and 1909 in München. From 1918 he taught at the Kiev Academy. Since 1919 member of the Mir Iskusstva.
