Natalia Munts was the daughter of
the architect and professor at the Petersburg Art Academy Oskar
Munts. After graduating in 1928 from the Academy she started working as
an illustrator for several Leningrad publishing houses. In 1930 she
joined as a craftswoman geological expeditions to the far east of the
Soviet Union. In 1944 she moved to Moscow where she continued her work
as a book illustrator. |
