Migunov studied the art department of the Moscow Institute of Cinematography from 1939 to 1943. He joined the soiuzmultfilm studios and worked together with M. Pashchenko, V. Suteev and others until 1960, when he was dismissed. He started working voor satirical journals such as Krokodil and started illustrating books. I
