Born Moscow, 26 October 1932

Meshkov graduated from the Moscow Middle art school in 1952 and in 1958 from the Graphic Faculty of the Moscow Surikov Institute where he had studied book graphics under B. Dehterev. He worked for several publishing houses such as Detskaia Literatura and Molodaia gvardiia.
