Мазурин, Герман Алексеевич

Born Penza, 10 August 1932

Mazurin studied from 1947 to 1952 at the Penza art school under Ivan Goriushkin-Sorokopudov. From 1952 to 1958 he studied at the Moscow Surikov Art Institute where he graduated under B. Dekhterev. Mazurin taught for several years at the university of Chenzhou in China before returning to Penza to teach at the Penza Art School. Mazurin ist best known as illustrator of children's books.
