Died Uzhgorod, 15 January 1978

Manailo studied at the Art and Technical School in Prague with V. Brunner. In 1930 he visited France. From 1937-1945 he taught decorative art at the Uzhgorod Trade School. In 1945 Uzhgorod, a town in Transcarpathia, was annexed by Ukraine, Manailo lectured at the Uzhgorod Art School.
