Died Moscow, 9 January 1987

Kuzmin studied in St. Petersburg 1911-1912 at the Tsvantseva Art School under Dobujinsky and Petrov-Vodkin and 1912-1914 under Bilibin, Mate and Rylov. 1922-1924 he studied at the Art  Academy under Shilingovskii and Kruglikova. In 1924 he moved to Moscow. He was married to the artist Mavrina.
