Vadim Kurchevskii graduated 1953 form the Leningrad Herzen Institute. He first worked at the Zagorsk toy factory and started 1957 working at the Moscow Soiuzmultfilm and became its artistic director. He designed animation films such as My green Crocodile (1966) or The Liberated Don Quixote (1987) .
