Three artists who made out of their names an acronym for the group. Kuprianov and Sokolov studied under Kupreianov at the VKUTEMAS in Moscow. Krylov studied in Tula under G. Shegal and later at the Vkutemas in Moscow. From 1927 on they acted always as a team of painters and graphic artists.
