Born Moscow, 10 October 1954

Dmitry Krymov studied at the Moscow Surikov institute. He graduated in 1976 from the studio school of the Moscow Arts Theatre. He designed many theatre productions. Beginning in 1990 he started making artist's books. Mostly in the form of an album his books are often on themes from the theatre. Krymov lives and works in Moscow and Washington DC.
