Кропивницкий, Лев Евгеньевич

Lev Kropivnistkii, son of the artists Olga Potapova and Evgenii Kropvinitskii, studied from 1939 to 1941at the Surikov Institute in Moscow. He fought as a soldier 1942-1943 in Voronezh and Stalingrad. Was arrested in 1946 and sentenced to a labour camp. After release in 1956 he worked in Balkhash (Karaganda district). Since the early 1960's he lived and worked in Moscow.
