In 1907 Krasnow came to Boston and later moved to Chicago where he attended the Art Institute. In 1916, after graduating, he moved to New York. In 1922 he moved to Glendale (Ca) where he lived and worked except for a sojourn of 3 years (1931-1934) to the Dordogne in France.
