Kozlovskii studied from 1923 to 1928 at the Krasnodar Kuban Art Tekhnikum.
In 1928 he moved to Kiev were he studied for two years at the Kiev Art
Institute, working in the meantime as an illustrator both in Kiev and
Kharkov. During he Second World War he was active as a Lieutenant at the
front. In May 1946 he moved to Voronozh where he lived and worked.
