Born Kiev, 21 May 1939

Leon Kozlov, son of Vasilii Kozlov, artist and first director of the Kiev Museum of Art, studied at the Lopukhov School of Art in Kiev and (1958-1962) at the Kiev Institute of Art at the cinomatographic department where he studied scenography under Iurii Pimenov. Since 1962 he lives and works in Moscow, mainly as a poster designer, book illustrator and sometimes as a cartoon film designer.
