Died Montreal (Canada), 29 December 1990.

Klimov lived until 1921 in Petrograd and Novocherkask. In 1921 he emigrated to Riga where he studied at the Akademy of Arts under Tilburgs and Purvits. In 1927 he worked in the Pskov area and in the Pechorii Monstary. In 1949 he emigrated to Canada.
